Crowdsourcing initiatives to make space for walking and cycling in times of a crisis.

Over the last weeks cities have strategically used walking and cycling as a healthy and resilient form of urban transport that can maintain the required physical distance to others. What have cities done to create more space for walking and cycling? Two initiatives are now collecting data about cities' strategies. You can help to add to this knowledge base and also use it to lobby in your city with the help of a global set of examples. List: "Local actions to support walking and cycling during social distancing" initiated and managed by Tabitha Combs at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Contribute directly in the document online. List: "COVID19 Livable Streets Response Strategies" with a special emphasis on tactical urbanism initiatives.
