"Walking the City" Series at the Guardian

The series also contains amazing collections of images such as a recap of the first car-free-Sundays held on Dutch motorways in the autumn of 1973 or a collection of colourful images about how city intersections can be reinvented.

The "Walking the City" series is made possible by The Rockefeller Foundation and we are glad it is reaching a broad readership and hopefully inspiring more folks to get in touch with their inner walker and take them out sometime to explore their city on foot.
