The Speakers at Walk21 Bogotá are as diverse as the Walk21 Family!
The Plenary Speakers for Walk21 in Bogotá represent influential global organisations, cities and individuals leading the quest for more walkability as well as advocates that take a hands-on approach for building a walkable city.
In Bogotá , Clauida Adriazola (World Resources Institute) and Carly Koinange (United Nations Environment Programme) will represent international organisations that increasingly consider support for walking as a valuable and essential strategy to deal with contemporary urban challenges.
From cities around the world, Walk21 Bogotá welcomes administrators and politicians who will share insights about how their cities including Auckland, Buenos Aires, Kampala, and Vienna, are taking bold steps towards more walkability.
And if that wasn't enough inspiration, we are thrilled to have a strong field of visionaries, who see opportunities and take risks to make the world a better place. We are of course hosted by the Mayor of Bogotá, Enrique Peñalosa and we welcome back our friend Peatónito and other decorated 'Walking Visionaries' from Walk21 in Vienna in 2015.
