In Hong Kong the push for walkability continues

February 27, 2017

We are pleased to see that the Walk21 conference in Hong Kong has left a strong legacy. Civic Exchange, the host of the Walk21 Hong Kong conference, has since launched their "Walkability" initiative and is advocating strongly for a more livable and walkable Hong Kong.

To start the lunar new year, a series of bi-weekly videos: "Walk with..." present interviews with Hong Kong residents about walkability. The first two videos show the importance of walkable urban spaces for street vendors and garbage collectors whose livelihoods are dependent on walking.
