We are pleased to share, that Bronwen Thornton, Walk21 Development Director has been voted by members to be on the Board of the SLoCaT Partnership for the next two years.
The Sustainable Low Carbon Transport (SLoCaT) Partnership is bringing the Sustainable Transport agenda to the international forums: Habitat III in Quito in October and the UNFCCC COP22 conference in November in Marrakesh.
At both these events Walk21 will be participating in the PPMC Transport Days initiated by SLoCaT and the Michelin Challenge Bibendum (MCB).
We will continue our activities to put walking on the agenda of international policy making for livable, healthy cities that allow us to make more footprints while emitting less carbon!
