As part of Vienna's commitment to hosting Walk21 in October they celebrated a whole Year of Walking with a campaign that has now been evaluated.
The campaign included video, games, apps, pedometers and free shoelaces as well as lots of events across the City throughouty the year.
In total the campaign saw 149,000 visitors to the website; 11,000 facebook likes and 182 media mentions which reached 40% of Vienese people.
80% of people report liking wallking in the city and 66% liked the year of walking focus too.
