This event highlighted messages from non-state actors on sustainable low carbon transport as input for governments, the talks in Paris and for the Dutch Presidency of the EU in 2016.
It focussed on recommendations on enabling policies and frameworks in support of scaled-up action on transport and climate change across the world. Walk21 was there to highlight the importance of national walking strategies, the right to walk and the need for more data and research about walking.
